In his role as Senior Vice President, Mike is responsible for the development, implementation, and coordination of all safety, health, and environmental regulations to meet company, client, city, state, or federal requirements. Mike is responsible for Repcon Inc.'s Quality Control and Quality Assurance Department as well. Additionally, Mike oversees the Human Resources department where his management responsibilities include ensuring that Repcon is compliant with labor laws, training, security, and hiring. Mike also oversees Corporate Support Services, which includes the warehouse, mechanic shop, and paint shop.

Expertise

Mike is a recognized safety and human resources professional with over forty years of experience. Prior to working for Repcon, Mike spent twenty-three years as an operations analyst for Kerr McGee Refining.

Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Southwest University. He is a former OSHA Special Government Employee, a past Safety and Health Chairman for Associated Builders and Contractors Inc., and the current Chairman of the South Texas Industrial Industry Safety Excellence Awards Program.

Additionally, Mike is a Master Trainer for the National Center of Construction Education and Research and a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers and the World Safety Organization. Mike continues to serve on many client, school, and workforce committees. He’s a current board member of the ACIT/TCC.

The Personal Side

Mike and his wife, Karen, have been married for 36 years and have two children, Eric and Allison.
